Meet The Team
Amelia O'Rourke-Owens
Amelia received her Juris Doctor summa cum laude from North Carolina Central University. She's worked in community economic development, consumer protection, and programmatic implementation. The unifying thread in Amelia's career is maximizing impact with minimal resources.
She has built statewide systems, moved federal policy portfolios, and published one law review article and has one forthcoming in Spring 2026.
Joseph Feldblum
I have a PhD in evolutionary anthropology and studied the evolution of social relationships, social structure, and reproductive strategies in chimpanzees and other mammals. Most of my work took advantage of the unparalleled long-term study of the chimpanzees of Gombe National Park, Tanzania, which is now in its 62nd year. My research explored the predictors and adaptive value of social relationships, using recently-developed network-based methods to analyze long-term data. I also studied social systems using the network structure of groups.
I've published an R package.
